The US leading coal mining company, Murray Energy Corp. acquired Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s (NYSE:GS) Colombian coal mining unit. The deal consists of several valuable assets, including two developed mines El Hatillo and La Francia, three undeveloped mining operations, coal reserves of around 184 million metric tons, port facility for coal, 530 railcars and 11 locomotives.
